Ferenc Huszar is an Associate Professor at Cambridge University. A machine learning researcher with a particular interest in the fundamentals and principles of learning systems.

Before joining Cambridge as an academic Ferenc worked on data-efficient machine learning, ML ethics and transparency, recommender systems and computer vision in the Cortex Applied Research team at Twitter. Before Twitter, he developed principled deep learning techniques for video compression in a research-lead startup Magic Pony Technology which got acquired by Twitter in 2016.
